Rick is returning to his post at French Elementary. I am exhausted from this fight but the outcome makes the long days worthwhile. Let us keep a close eye on things to ensure he stays right where he belongs.

Final supporters
Rick has been a key element in keeping the kids safe and traffic flowing in front of French Elementary. This week he confronted a driver that was going the wrong direction and the driver filed a complaint. Because of this complaint, he will be moved to a different position where his knowledge and talent will not be utilized to its fullest to insure the safety of everyone.
This is a petition to have Rick Parot moved back to his original crossing guard position for the safety of all the kids at French Elementary.

Reaching this level of support has been exhausting yet necessary. Seeing so many people recognize that Rick belongs back at that intersection keeps me going even when the silence from the administration feels heavy.

Rick always has safety as his priority and keeps a hectic intersection running smoothly and with a smile. He takes his job seriously and i appreciate his no nonsense, but caring approach. Please keep Rick at his original position in front of French.
We can’t let someone who was in the wrong decide who is protecting our kids! If we punish him for stopping someone from doing something dangerous - which is what he is there for - will the new person not stop people for it in the future? Then why even have someone there!
The front of our school can become a hot mess in a split second. Rick does an amazing job every single day with a positive attitude and a smile on his face. Once again, someone who does a great job is penalized for their actions. It’s time people stand up for what is right.
He does an amazing job keeping traffic miving and kids safe. With Gosling expansions and mediums possibly coming down and big equipment being stored there, we need him in this position.
Unless French wants to open it's doors earlier, Rick needs to stay put. It's already hectic at morning dropoff but Rick makes it safe and smooth going for both students and parents. Without him where he's at, it will for sure be chaos.

Rick Parot has been an amazing crossing guard since Frency opened. He is fast, efficient and keeps kids, cars safe! Please keep him where he is!
