I have been reading through all your comments about why these early sessions matter for our daily routines. It is clear that moving these times would throw off the balance for so many of us trying to fit our work and studies into one day.

Seeing so many of you jump on board to keep our early morning classes has been incredible. I started this because those sessions are where I actually get my best work done and I am relieved to see I am not alone.

My child's preschool only goes from 7:45-2, the later the classes start the later we get out so the more money I'll need to spend on day care that I already can't afford..
Moving 8am class times to create a common "meeting time" is ridiculous. There is no benefit here for the majority of students. This will just create more conflict with class scheduling and athletics. There is no problem with the current system so why change it?
Getting rid of 8am's and moving classes to later in the day is ridiculous. I go to classes during the day so I can work at night, so I can PAY for said classes. Absolutely ridiculous.
I like my 8am classes because it allows my coach to have earlier practice instead of having classes til 7 and practice following and I end up being up till 1am
the reason why we should still have 8:00 a.m.'s is because I don't want my classes to be later than they already are since I have many things to balance such as extracurriculars, school, job, singing, and church. Students need to realize that in real life 90% of jobs where you have a college education are at 8:00 a.m. or earlier.
Looking at the fall schedule already, I'm already questioning how I can work and go to school...
It's not a good idea to mandate changes without student opinion first. Students pay the tuition, and keep the school running, therefore we should be able to make the decisions. Or are we to 'ignorant' to make theses decisions? Maybe decisions like this are why enrollment is down.

I need 8am classes in order to hold a job and to continue going to school. Some classes need an early start due to the nature of their subject, others work well in the morning so that students can have more options of what they can take and when they can take them.
