Looking at the fall schedule already, I'm already questioning how I can work and go to school...

It's not a good idea to mandate changes without student opinion first. Students pay the tuition, and keep the school running, therefore we should be able to make the decisions. Or are we to 'ignorant' to make theses decisions? Maybe decisions like this are why enrollment is down.

I would rather start the day early and be done with classes early. I'm not afraid of waking up early...

My child's preschool only goes from 7:45-2, the later the classes start the later we get out so the more money I'll need to spend on day care that I already can't afford..

Procrastination is never a good thing, so why put off class an hour? Just get it done and over with so you have more of your day to study, talk with professors or work. I honestly do not think holding meetings at 8am will boost attendance whatsoever for activities. People would rather sleep in because a grade is not dependent on their attendance.

Moving 8am class times to create a common "meeting time" is ridiculous. There is no benefit here for the majority of students. This will just create more conflict with class scheduling and athletics. There is no problem with the current system so why change it?

Getting rid of 8am's and moving classes to later in the day is ridiculous. I go to classes during the day so I can work at night, so I can PAY for said classes. Absolutely ridiculous.

Noon classes at 5 pm will not work and students will not get up for extra programming, but will get up for classes.

There's no reason why college students can't get up and to class by 8, just like high school. Also, athletes will have to adjust to a whole new schedule.

This will effect all athletics and athletes. Afternoon practices will be more difficult for athletes who would originally have class earlier and that will now be pushed to practice time.

I remember having to work, and labs that went 6-10 pm, when my classes began at 7 am. No way can someone cram enough classes into a shortened day

My classes are decently late as it is. Most days I end at 5pm right now. I honestly would not like that to be 6pm. Besides I would not go to the meetings if classes were to start later.

I much prefer morning classes - they make for a better afternoon study schedule and allow for more extracurricular activities.

Most ridiculous thing I be ever heard. I hope this isn't because sleeping in is that important. Let's all enter the real world and get up at a decent time

Early classes can be much better for students with jobs. Some students would prefer to have their classes over with earlier in the day.

As a commuter student, I love my 8 am classes. They allow me to stack my classes and be able to leave campus earlier in the day.
