FOR THE PAST THIRTY YEARS EVERY FAMILY IN THE UK HAS BENEFITTED FROM CHILD BENEFIT
It is blatantly unfair to deny families their right to receive this universal benefit. It is also completely unjust that if a single earner brings home a penny more than £44k, they will no longer be able to receive this benefit (from 2013) but couples earning up to £86k (between them) will still be able to claim.
