I am a seventeen year old senior attending Riverside Secondary School, I am making this petition to help keep Western Secondary open, I am not making this to benefit me but to help students and staff keep their wonderful school. Western offers great things for a different type of student. Western is the school kids can go to feel normal and get the extra help they need, Western is their home and where they feel safe and included. I personally think placing those students in a regular public school like General Amherst High School would do nothing but confuse and make it difficult to learn. How would you go about that? Separate them from the other kids? I feel every student should feel comfortable and included and at Western they do. Western is their home.
Help keep Western open!
