I did confirm this myself by calling the Amherst St., Buffalo NY location. I said "Is your W-Kids closing after January 1st?" She said "Yes." I said "All of them? Permanently?" She responded by saying "Yes all stores are getting rid of them."

I have finalized a formal letter addressed to the corporate office requesting a meeting to discuss the impact of this policy shift. We are currently coordinating with local media outlets interested in covering the reduction of family services in retail spaces.

We live 500ft from a Tops. I drive 25mins to the closest Wegmans with a WKids. My two girls love it there. If there isn't WKids I have no reason to drive that far, I could just go to Tops.
Please do not close W-kids. My children go there all the time. They have gotten to know the employees very well and would certainly miss them. Also W-kids is the primary reason I shop at Wegmans. If W-kids were to close I may start shopping at a store closer to my house.
You will lose a lot of your loyal shoppers. One on the ONLY REASONS is hope with wegmans is because I can drop off 2 of my kiddos to play instead of dragging them around the store!! If there wasn't a play room I would shop at wegmans.
Moms that can concentrate on what they are buying in peace will most likley spend more time and money shopping. The kids enjoy the experience. It is a needed service.
this is the only place i can shop in peace an not have to worry bout my kids takin merchandise off the shelves or messing stuff up an leave them with people i can trust. please dont shut down your w-kids program its used by quite a few moms who need programs like that..
Excited to use this service when my son is 3 in December!
W Kids makes grocery shopping so much easier and my son loves it.

Please don't close your W-kids. My kids have always enjoyed going in there while I shopped. I sometimes would even treat myself to coffee and a treat while they were in there. Honestly I spent more money at the store since I could take my time and look around rather than keeping the kids in line.
