WE ask the government to reconsider the award of the West Coast franchise to the First Group instead of Virgin Trains.

Updates

August 16, 2012

The government is hiding behind bureaucratic excuses while they hand over our rail service to the First Group. Their refusal to engage with us is a slap in the face to every passenger who relies on a functional train line.

Virgin Trains must continue. I have travelled on this service weekly for thirteen years and it has continued to improve. This is the only service travelling from and to the North that is reliable, essential and extremely valued. Government - Get down from your high horses and back Virgin Trains.

My weekly ticket is pricey enough without the service falling apart. Virgin works fine.

I rely on this line to see my family and Virgin is the only one that actually shows up on time most days. Leave it alone.

Virgin have always been spot on for me. Never had a bad trip in ten years of commuting. Why change something that isnt broken?
