Mr. Ellis is Scott Pool. He was there when I was a child and now he is there for my child. Why would you force a dedicated employee out of their job? Most employers would be so thankful for a man like him. This is disgraceful!!
He is a staple to that pool and was missed this last pool season. His commitment to safety is exemplary and is a necessary element to ensure all swimmers are following the code of conduct. Please bring him back!!
Being at the new pool this year wasn't as exciting as it should have been. It's like having thanksgiving and not inviting Grandpa. I thought it was his wish to walk away. Knowing that he still wants to be there is heartbreaking.
Mr. Ellis is the voice of Scott Pool ... has been since it opened. We listened to his voice as kids and our kids listened as well. Please keep this legacy, and Mr. Ellis at the pool until he's ready to retire. He's the Dick Clark of Scott Township. Thanks.
Mr. Ellis Has long been a fixture at Scott Pool. On Lindsay Rd. we referred to him as the, "Voice of Summer" I grew up with Mr. Ellis and I am so blessed that my children have had the same wonderful experience with him at Scott Pool. Mr. Ellis is an icon in Scott Twp. Please keep him!
