Please help keep the English and Guernsey Arms open. It is one of the best pubs in Guernsey with a lovely and very welcoming land lady and brilliant staff. All customers are like family and has a very wonderful atmosphere that everyone loves and enjoys, if closed it will have an effect on a lot of local residents as the E&G has been open for a very long time, It is also like home to a lot of the regulars and will have a massive effect on all. Another local amenity to be clobbered by planning for the benefit of greedy developers at the ex’s pence of our wonderful landlady Jane and all who use the E&G on a day to day bases not forgetting the great live music nights
please keep it goin family worked there from the very first e/g so it means alot on the bridge .
There’s only four pubs left on the bridge now, one is for gamblers ones more for bikers and always trouble and one is to small to take bands. This pub can’t close
Fantastic pub it’s the only one I go to because I feel safe there. My aunty is doin a fab job keeping it running would be heartbreaking to see it empty
Please think this through, if E&G was up graded bowling alley bought back, bar meals, outside bbq s, live music, It could be a gold mine, This place was buzzing back in the day
Had some fantastic nights in the e+g and made some really close freinds would be a shame to pull this building down jane is a fantastic landlady

It’s such a shame it’s a great pub, a little injection of money and it could do even more. Great landlady in Jane, a committed and hard working person that deserves to have an opportunity to make this the best pub in St Sampsons
