Please do not take the flag off of General Lee and please don't give in to pressure to take the Dukes of Hazards off the air. The show has nothing to do with the racial problems going on at this time and is a clean family show.
Cars and flags do not hurt people people hurt people!General Lee is will always be General Lee you won't be able to get ride of him.There are more important issues in the country that need to be addressed!Think about that!
I watched Dukes of Hazzard all the time with my dad. I think the flag should stay on the General Lee. This one thing won't hurt people. It was a part of the show and didn't promote any type of racism. It's just apart of the General Lee! There is no need to remove it.
The Duke boys never once endorsed the negative values that people associate with the flag. The flag adds character to the General Lee and by removing it you are essentially killing off the character and its legacy.
The Dukes of Hazzard was a huge part of my childhood and there was nothing racist about the show ever. If we take the flag off the General Lee - then we should ban certain movies, games, music - where do we draw the line in the sand? Please keep the flag on the General Lee

I think it's horrible to take away part of history?! People need to get a group and stop being such WAH WAHS!!! You take away something so fun but yet LET'S LEGALIZE SOME MORE DRUGS!! Freakin idiots! Sorry.....I had to say that!.

I can understand taking the flag off the state buildings, but taking it off the General Lee just shows that you never get rid of bullies. You just replace one group of them with another. Wonder if the name of the car will be next.
