The legal claim was dropped and River is officially staying at the sanctuary for good. I am bone tired from this fight but the relief of knowing he is safe makes it all worth it. Thank you for staying by my side while we secured his future.

River the lamb has been on the news since he was saved from drowning in a river. He was excepted by Willows Animal Santuary in Aberdeenshire and is now part of the animal assisted therapy unit to help vulnerable people. Since then a farmer came forward, claiming the lamb was his. He has started legal proceedings to get him back. These people have felt safe in bonding with this lamb. Being here at Willows they know that it is not going to market or anything like that because he would live out his natural life at Willows. Now it’s all under threat and they are deeply distressed. Several people have been tears because of this. Willows Animal Santury has many supporters that feel River should stay here to live a happy and content life! PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION TO HELP KEEP RIVER AT WILLOWS ANIMAL SANCTUARY! Thank you Kirsty Finnie

One hundred people have signed this to keep River safe at the sanctuary. My head is aching from the legal stress but seeing this support gives me enough strength to keep fighting for him.

LEAVE HIM ALONE. He has a home now.

Why would anyone want to take such a happy animal away from a place where it does so much good? This is just cruel.

Poor little thing has been through enough already. Let him stay where he is loved and safe.

It makes me so sad thinking about him being taken back. He has bonded with the people there and hes actually helping them. Just let him be.
