Rhiwbina's branch of the Natwest Bank is reported to be closing in October 2015. Sadly this is the last bank in the village, and with no Post Office either, would be very worrying for local residents and businesses. Please sign the petition to oppose this closure.

I have used this branch for 25 years. While there is a bus service to Whitchurch it is not frequent, and parking in both Whitchurch and Llanishen is not brilliant for the bank. If Whitchurch branch were closed there are still three banks in the village.
We would also hate to see this branch close. Not only do 4 members of my household bank with NatWest because we wanted a bank with a local branch were we could actually do our banking face to face, with friendly professional staff. Seems mad as this bank is ALWAYS busy!!!
Mum is 92 the service she gets is second to none from Gill and the team. They know their customers many of whom are of a senior age & gave accounts at the branch for years. The post office is no longer in the village not convenient for all.
Besides taking away the only Bank left in Rhiwbina, Natwest is depriving the area of vital services for a largely elderly population. This branch has provided not just financial services but has given social help to customers who are vulnerable people. Natwest, pay something back to Society.
So many elderly people use this branch, it's a disaster for them. I've got my business and current accounts there, and been a loyal customer for 30 years. My business will certainly be moving on, and probably my other accounts too if Rhiwbina closes.
Keep this branch open!!!!

I have been using this branch for 38yrs! It is poor judgement to close such a valuable asset to Rhiwbina Village. FACE to FACE is always best and with on line security under contant threat this facility gives this long time customer confidance.
