I have been reviewing the stories many of you shared about why this branch remains a vital part of our daily lives. These experiences highlight exactly why the loss of local banking services creates such a significant hardship for our community. We are currently finalizing our formal response to the bank to ensure they understand the true impact of their decision.

Reaching this level of support confirms that our local bank is far more than a building to the people who rely on it. Seeing so many neighbors join this effort proves that our community is unwilling to accept the loss of these essential services without a fight.

Why do Nat West insist on outright excluding those who do not or cannot use banking facilities online ~ and why are they so anti human? I do not like automated banking My elderly mother cannot use automated banking Keep the branch open
I am a wheelchair user and the NatWest Greenwich branch has no disabled access. Because of this I would have to ask somebody to take me up 4 or 5 stone steps in my wheelchair, even supposing I had somebody's company at the time! Is this a fair use of our resources?
I don't use the ATM as I feel very vulnerable doing so on a mobility scooter so it is imperative to go in to the branch to get cash. This is much used branch by locals and shopkeepers alike. Do NatWest want to lose their customers and make them switch to Barclays? Think again NatWest.
Can't understand why, as every time I visit there is a line and I have to queue up. And the same already applies for the Greenwich city centre branch. So in other words we get less branches and even bigger queues.
Blackheath Standard is a busy local community which is growing and is home to a number small businesses many of whom need local banking facilities. Mat West risk alienating themselves within this community in closing this valuable resource and should seriously rethink this particular closure.
People like myself who are disabled in a wheelchair with no car will be unable to get to another branch. Will have to change my bank
This is our local branch and the next one is driving distance away. Not everybody drives and public transport in these areas is a joke. Move this natwest and expect to lose customers as the local barclays would be much more convenient.

Blackheath Standard is a busy local shopping centre which needs two banks to give choice and competition. NatWest will be speeding up the death of the high street if this branch closes. It is usually busy and I often use the cash machines.
