By signing below you agree that you would like to prevent concentrated developments (PUD designations) from rezoning hearings and proceedings by the Columbia County Planning & Development Department or any arm of the county government with the authority to make these changes and establish a precedent for the APPLING, LEAH,WINFIELD, PUMPKIN CENTER areas to remain rural agricultural with minimum 2.5 acre lots.
The momentum behind our push to protect the rural character of our neighborhoods is growing rapidly. Now is the time to turn this energy into action by emailing your county representative to demand they uphold the existing zoning requirements.

As someone who grew up in the Appling/Leah community, I sure would hate to see it destroyed this way. Please keep it rural!

Fill in all the closer areas before destroying the rural character of these areas. It just doesn't make good sense to do otherwise.

I would like to see 5 acre minimums on future home buildings. I do not wish to see Appling develop into commercial zoning. Leave it rural!

Slow down Columbia County. Catch up and pay for what we have. Build the infrastructure first. You’re ruining what we moved here for. The Blanchard’’s; Allen’s, and Ron Cross have made enough money off of us.

Please follow and implement Vision 2035. If we allow a PUD in R/A land, we set the precedent for any developer to build anything in the rural areas of Columbia County and lose part of the appeal of our diverse and wonderful county.

I moved to Appling 17 years ago for the rural setting. I do not want development around me. I enjoy the peaceful setting and do not want it marred by Industrial sites nor overcrowding. Had I wanted city life I would have stayed where I was previously.

Please leave Appling as it is now. We do not need a large influx of homes/persons into our area.

I am against massive housing and development in Appling. Use the PLAN!
