As parents of students at the Greenville School
in Howell, NJ, we request that the Board of Education maintain the existing
Ramtown/Greenville line. Moving this line will only have minimal impact on the
overall utilization of both schools - we've been told that this change will
only result in the movement of "about 20 children".
On the other hand, the movement of these
children will have a profound personal impact, and one that cannot be measured
on maps and graphs. Our children’s education and relationships should not be interrupted in this unnecessary
rebalancing.
During the public meetings, we were told that
great efforts were being made to "keep communities together" and not
divide them. Therefore, we ask that you keep this very promise and not divide
the Greenville community.
THESE KIDS ARENT JUST NUMBERS ON A SPREADSHEET!! Stop messing with our neighborhood school when the numbers dont even justify the chaos.
