The state has confirmed that the fox preserves will remain open. This outcome recognizes the accuracy of our practices and the importance of our heritage. We have secured our right to continue these traditions while we remain committed to responsible stewardship of the land.

Final supporters
The HSUS has been trying to have our Fox Preserves here in Virginia shut down by using untruths to play on the sympathies of those who do not know what Field Trialing is about. We do not slaughter fox and own trained killer hounds. We do alot of good for our communities by hosting alot of benefit hunts to help anyone in need. We bring much needed revenue to our state. Fox Preserves are monitored by the DGIF and all fox are vaccinated, wormed and fed. Enclosures are well maintained and many natural dens and man made escape houses are in the enclosure. Enclosures are 300 to 1000 acres in size, not small cages as many are led to believe.
We feel the HSUS has unfairly painted a very negative light on the Preserves in VA and we the undersigned would like to request that consideration of their past untruths be brought to light in their next round of attacks. Please vote to keep our Preserves open and preserve our rights.
We here in Virginia are proud of our hunting heritage and are willing to stand and fight for that right.

Reflecting on the conversations I have had lately, it is clear that many people remain concerned about how our hunting traditions are being portrayed by outsiders. I am currently gathering documentation to illustrate the high standards of care maintained within our preserves for the authorities to review. We must continue to emphasize the factual reality of these operations despite the persistent misrepresentations currently circulating.

Seeing this groundswell of support confirms how deeply committed our community remains to defending our heritage. It is heartening to know that so many people understand the reality of our practices beyond the misconceptions circulated by those who oppose us. This momentum provides a solid foundation as we prepare to address the upcoming challenges.

I've been fox hunting since before I could walk, I'd hate to see this wonderful sport be taken away from us.
My family has been involved in this for generations. It is a tradition that deserves to stay. Stop listening to these out of state groups who hate our way of life.
We look after the animals better than the people complaining ever could. Leave our heritage alone.
THESE PEOPLE HAVE NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN A PRESERVE. ITS ALL LIES TO PUSH THEIR AGENDA. DONT LET THEM WIN.

This was once a great state, for a long time; but now with an influx of those from MD NY and PA we get a democratic state and this is just the beginning, what is next? If your originally from here your imagination WONT let you down, sign this, NOW!!!!!!
