i keep thinking about all the old photos of the packs and how the woods feel empty without that specific sound echoing through the trees at dawn. people are messaging me their own stories about training their dogs and it makes me realize this is about way more than just the sport itself because it really is a whole way of life that folks are trying to erase.

Hitting 100 signatures feels wild because I honestly thought it would just be me and a few friends staring at this page forever. My phone has been buzzing constantly and truthfully seeing people who care about keeping these traditions alive is keeping me up way later than I planned.

This not only is enjoyable but also teaches kids responsibility as they grow older and are responsible for the daily needs of the dogs in your pen at home. Surely hope they don't ruin the brotherhood of being able to run dogs with your buddies and families.
I am 63 years old and have dog hunted all my life. Hunting with dogs is a huge part of our American heritage. It ranks right up there with the Right To Keep And Bear Arms. We must never give up our Bibles, our Guns, or our Dogs!
Don't let this die! Every dog hunter from a mans single duck dog to those who hunt a pack of 60 field trial pups will be in crosshairs. Had a man say don't affect him all he has is a squirrel dog! Sorry partner but this includes you just the same.
i support hunting with dogs. by using dogs to find the game that we are hunting that over populated. If I did not use dogs we would not keep the population of the animals down to prevent accident. call you insurance company and see how many customers run into deer.
There's nothing like raising a walker hound from a pup to hear it on it first chase ! It's not just about the hunting it's the pride of generations from my grandfather to my father to me ! For our family it's a passion !

American tradition to hunt for food and sport running of animals does no harm! I have rabbits who will run for hours and go in a hole when they get ready! I have heard fixes come to where foxhounds are kept and bark enticing hounds to run them! I guess they like adrenaline rushes too!

This is the last year for dog running at our leases, Weyerhouser is stopping it. We have so much money and time spent on our 10 bealges. We love them all and have invested in them since they were babies. Please do no ttake this away from us cold turkey. Can we not compromise??
