The corporate office finally confirmed they are keeping our doors open after reviewing the sales data. It has been a long and draining fight but I am relieved we kept this space in our town. We need to keep shopping there to ensure it stays successful for the long haul.
Asking the JC PENNEY Corporate office to consider keeping our store open for a while longer. With the closure of the Ottumwa Store, ours would give them a place to shop which would help our store's sales volume and keep it open.
The fatigue is setting in but we are near five hundred signatures and that threshold is what the corporate office needs to see. Please send this link to anyone else who wants to keep our local shopping options alive because we cannot afford to lose momentum now.

Every birthday and every Father's day my dad only wants a gift card to JCPenney. He lives in Oskaloosa and this is where he purchases all his clothes. What a devastation to the community if this store would leave. I really hope you will reconsider.

This is the only store my daughter, who is on the spectrum, will agree to go to when wanting to shop since we only are able to go to the bigger malls (in Des Moines) once in a blue moon due to her anxiety and sensory overload.

JC Penney leaving the Oskaloosa area will create a serious shopping gap for women of all ages. It will be even more disastrous for men as there aren't any stores selling men's clothing except for Wal-Mart. Please reconsider closing the Oskaloosa store.

I love shopping at the JcPenny in Oskaloosa. They offer quality, with affordability for the whole family. Especially with the new management the atmosphere is friendly and professional. Would absolutely hate seeing it close-honestly our town needs it! I hope that you reconsider.

Please keep JCPENNEY in Oskaloosa open. We have such slim selection for clothes in our town. Closing this store will force residents to go to Des Moines or Iowa City for clothes thus taking away from the growth of our community.

Please consider postponing the closure of store #2189. It is my firm belief that with the new management changes in our store and the closure of a store 25 miles south of us (Ottumwa, Iowa) that our sales volume numbers would increase and our community would be grateful!

Please keep the JCPenney store in Oskaloosa open. There are no other stores of quality there. The Des Moines store is 60 miles away and there are Kohls or Targets in Des Moines that are closer to us.

I love shopping in that store.. they have excellent deals and it's just right outside of where I work at. I go there whenever when my salon is slow and look around.
