This town has only one place to get shoes and it is so expensive those of us with families cant afford to go there. Famous footwear has reasonable competitive prices that allow people of Colby to be able to shop within reasonable prices.
We can't lose famous footwear. We buy all five of our kids school shoes there. If it closes we will have to drive up to 2 hours away to buy shoes. Shoes aren't something I like to buy on the internet you have to be able to try them on.
This is the only place in NW kansas to get a good pair of shoes. My fiancé wears a size 15 and they are the only place within 2 to 3 hours that he can find his shoe size at and plus the whole family gets their shoes there as well.
We are a family of 5 and everytime we need shoes Famous Footwear in Colby is our first stop. PLEASE do not close this store. It serves many more people then the citizems of Colby it draws customers from the whole NW corner of Kansas and would be a huge service lost.
Famous footwear is the ONLY shoe store that I'm even aware of within an hour and a half of Colby. And I do not buy shoes online. I never know how different brands will fit and the same goes for my two little boys. I would never be able to buy their shoes online. Colby NEEDS to keep famous footwear.
We don't want to lose our Famous Footware Store!

Please keep your store open. I work in the office next door and Famous Footware does a lot of business. You would definitely be hurting Colby and the community for there is no other shoe store within 90 mile radius.
