I just looked at the screen and saw we hit 250 signatures which is wild because I honestly thought this would just be me and my neighbors shouting into the void. It feels like people actually care about having a place to get cash around here and I am honestly so relieved that I am not the only one stressed about this closure.

I spent the morning walking past the branch and it just looks so empty already despite them not actually leaving yet which honestly feels like a bad omen for the whole street. People keep stopping me in the grocery store to tell me how much they depend on that machine for their daily errands and I wish I had a stronger answer for them besides just waiting for someone from the corporate office to finally pick up the phone.

I honestly never thought this many people would actually care about the branch because sometimes it feels like nobody notices these things until the doors are locked for good. It is wild to see everyone coming together like this and I am kind of overwhelmed by how much momentum we have built up just by talking to our neighbors.

Another disaster for East Sheen....the only new shops to have opened recently are a funeral directors and a shop that will check your hearing. Banks are an integral part any society and not everyone does online banking...keep it open please. Agt George
This local Natwest Branch has been enormously helpful to me whilst dealing with a a complicated probate issue which I was unable to resolve through their help line. The bank provides an enormously helpful service to a large number of more elderly people who find online banking difficult if not impossible.
East Sheen still has a large retired population who are not computer literate. It has a lot of small independent businesses. Forcing owners to travel further afield to deposit takings will make area more dangerous. Using bank machines in the open is not ideal.
The ‘Westminster Bank’ was my grandparents bank in the 50s and my mother’s bank for decades, and has since played a significant part in the community as Nat West. Please don’t abandon all those who still rely on branch support or who use the cashpoint. Thank you
As a very long standing customer of NatWest both domestically and with our business, we use you all the time. Please please don’t close. If you do, we will seriously have to contemplate moving to Barclays across the road

Please don't close Natwest East Sheen branch - the staff are very friendly and they know their customers (excellent customer service). It is the only branch with parking available, and as I manage coinage, this cannot be done via online banking!
