We the undersigned petition the City of Henderson Planning Commission to not entertain any closures, realignments, or vacating of the Street named Mohawk, from Lake Mead Parkway, to Galleria, and the entrance to Tuscany Village. Any realignments to Mohawk will damage home values in Tuscany Village, by effectively blocking access to the community with a subdivision in front of Tuscany Village. Cause delays in response time for emergency vehicles to Tuscany Village. Limit access to Lake Mead Recreational Area. Negatively impact the economy of Old Town City of Henderson by rerouting a major traffic pattern to Galleria and business districts north. Therefore, we ask the Planning Commission to deny any proposed changes to the Street Mohawk.
