Word on the grape vine is that the council are going to put up a fence in front of Argyle St side of Mill rd bridge to stop graffiti. Since we have been allowed to paint it, the amount of illegal graffiti has dropped in the area by about 95%. What would the council prefer. Keeping it in one spot where it is policed by the residents of the co-op housing or back making a complete mess of Mill rd and the surrounding area. Please sign this and get your friends to to the same, lets keep Cambridge tidy and as free of graffiti (apart from legal spots) as we can

The council has not responded to my emails about the fence plans yet. I am exhausted by this constant silence but I am not walking away from the bridge.

Seeing this kind of movement confirms that people actually care about keeping our neighborhood clean instead of just throwing up fences. I am exhausted from the constant back and forth with the council but this momentum proves we are on the right side of the argument.

TOTAL WASTE OF TAXPAYER MONEY. The art is the only thing that gives that bridge any character. Leave it for the artists!

the council is clueless. if you block this off the tags will just start popping up on every shop front in town. stupid idea.
