I am a community member and/or parent of a Let's Play Music student. I love the music and piano curriculum. I am so glad that this program is offered in homes in Northern Colorado. My child feels safe and secure in a home studio environment. I appreciate that the teacher is able to teach classes 2-3 days a week while her own children are young. I would be upset IF she had to rent a business space for these classes because my tuition price would have to be raised significantly to cover the unnecessary expense and/or the studio would shut down.

I have been meeting with local officials to explain why home studios are essential for keeping music education accessible in our community. Please call your city council representative today to demand that they protect our right to learn in these spaces. Post this link on your Facebook page to ensure more neighbors understand that we are fighting to keep tuition affordable.

As a parent and music teacher, I value the opportunity for my children to learn from this amazing curriculum and professional teachers in a safe and friendly home environment. An in-home studio allows for affordable tuition, making music education attainable for many.
I also teach this program out of my home, and greatly appreciate the opportunity to do the two things I love - be a stay-at-home mom, and run a small music studio. I would not be able to, or desire to run my studio if I had to find childcare and pay rent.
I am grateful for the affordable price of the Let's Play Music. It is affordable because it is held in a a home instead of a studio. Please allow such groups to continue operating out of individual homes so the price is affordable to families.
The current situation is a win-win. Good for the teachers and good for the parents - I LOVE that we can walk down the street to music class. My kids would not attend if I had to pay higher prices or had to drive them across town.
I pay for my 3 grandchildren to attend these outstanding classes. It would be a shame if they were moved out of the residence and into a rented space because tuition would no longer be affordable!

My daughter loves her music class, I don't know what we would do if we didn't have this class. Regular music lessons are not as engaging for her. We wouldn't be able to afford a tuition increase either.
