My daughter loves her music class, I don't know what we would do if we didn't have this class. Regular music lessons are not as engaging for her. We wouldn't be able to afford a tuition increase either.

The comfort of the home environment makes this class more productive to the learning needs of small children. If they feel comfortable and safe without the distractions of a public place they learn better and retain more of what they are taught. This music class builds the foundations of basic music theory and a love for music at an appropriate developmental level for small children. I have not found a public program that offers these same benefits. Windsor is small town that has always prided itself on community. I believe allowing this type of teaching in the home environment supports and encourages the small town community Windsor seeks to maintain even with it's abundant growth over the years.

this music program has given my children skills they will carry with them to become well rounded musicians. Even my 2 year old songs and remembers the songs at home throughout the week. I believe any kind of learning done in a fun hands on manner is better remembered. Both my 2 year old and 7 year old love going to Mrs. Robins class. There have never been and issues of safety or other just amazing learning and building blocks for life!

The fact that this is taught in a professional home studio is what makes it more attractive to the kiddos. LPM is a great community of moms, dads, kids and teachers. These relationships are fostered in the teacher's home. I would be upset if the teacher had to rent a space to teach this class, because tuitions would need to be increased to cover the cost.

This is a wonderful program taught out of a warm, caring and safe home that fills a void in affordable music instruction in the area. Please allow Mrs. Flores to continue her passion by continuing to teach our young children music out of her home.

All small businesses bring tax revenue to a city, Let's Play Music is a 3 year program that brings me to Windsor from Loveland. I love the program and Ms Robin is an excellent teacher. If we her classes are no longer an option I don't know where my children will go for quality, affordable, caring music lessons, Fort Collins?

My daughter is thriving musically and socially in the Let's Play Music environment established by Mrs, Robin Flores in her home. I would hate to see this highly effective method of early music education come to an end in the Windsor area. It provides such an outstanding foundation for fine arts and music appreciation during our children's most impressionable time.

Please approve this small exception to a rule that should not exclude those with a heart to teach children and keep their classes small on purpose. Also, I am thinking Windsor allows in home day care -- often day care includes teaching the young ones as they grow -- like preschool. Please don't throw this wonderful thing out when it is very manageable. Thank you.

I grew up with my mother teaching piano out of our home. With my father working out of the home, if my mother would have had to go elsewhere to teach, it would have meant extra babysitting cost that they did not have. This might have hindered my mother from doing what she loved and those she taught would not have learned from her. I'm sure this attempt is in the name of safety, but what will come from this is a barrier of entry for young teachers who cannot afford separate studios and will price out families that cannot pay the extra cost. Teaching music is a fundamental need for our society and culture to survive and making it harder to receive will not bode well for our society.

I love Let's Play Music. My family started the program when my oldest was 4. He's now 8 and winning national composition contests because of the foundation LPM provided. He's happier, more successful, and his math skills have been improved by his involvement with music. He also learned how to handle group settings prior to going to public school. That was a very hard thing for him.

Kim's "Let's Play Music" is exactly the type of program that a variance is the perfect fit for. Kim has provided a wonderful service to our community for many years and will continue to do so if given the opportunity. Our youngest son attended three years of "Let's Play Music", and was our fifth child to take music lessons. There is no comparison between the experience he had and that of our other children. Sean learned and LOVED this program so much and I will be forever grateful for the love of music and solid foundation of skills that Miss Kim taught him. I give my unqualified and highest recommendation that you grant this variance - you will be granting a beautiful gift to the families in our community!
