Following last year’s decision of the Electoral Commission that Kirklees Council will be one of only 16 councils nationwide to be monitored at election time, we call on candidates from all parties standing in Dewsbury at the next local election on May 22nd to pledge their support for fair elections, free from electoral fraud and voter intimidation.

ABOUT TIME. tired of the drama around election day every single year. make it fair for everyone.
I have signed the local code of conduct, this is because this has to be a clean election. We must be seen to be clean as candidates. Liberal candidates are getting involved in the process by asking for forms to give out.

Dewsbury has had enough of the dodgy stuff going on at the polls. Sick of seeing people hassled when they just want to cast a vote. Keep it honest for once.
