Do NOT discontinue or change the City of Irondale's recycling program. It is a program that will benefit not only OUR city but our Country. To do away with the program or to limit it to bi-monthly would only be a step backwards.

The City Council thinks they can quietly gut our recycling program while we are not looking. I have been spending my nights digging through their budget reports and their excuses are complete garbage. We are not going to let them strip away our progress just to save a few pennies.

we only use the trash service maybe once a month. Our recycling, however, is over flowing every single week & we happily take it to the curb every week. Please keep this program going. It's important.
Please keep this service! It is a viable resource to combat filling the landfills. My bin is full every week , I would need two bins if it went to twice monthly. I could use one garbage pickup per week if the recyling stays weekly. The city could publicize the program more which might help.
We do not have the room to store our recycling for two weeks. Trying to teach the kids to do the right thing for our environment,but a two week stretch will make it very difficult.Please continue this service every week!
While I, due to the size of my household, may only use the service twice a month on average...it's not right that the entire community suffer by having this very valuable, much needed and long overdue service reduced or, God forbid, eliminated.
i respectfully request that the Irondale curbside recycling program be continued on a weekly basis. I would be happy to have garbage collection reduced to once per week if that is necessary to make the curbside recycling feasible financially.
keep recycling. it saves space in landfills

Please help save Irondale's Recycling program and help us make it better. If it is utilized more and we can reduce waste further we can not only save Irondale money, we can help the enviroment and help create jobs for Alabama.
