Graduation. A day for families to come together and celebrate the accomplishments of the graduate. A day forever remembered.
Family members have requested days off of work, purchased airfare, or have prepared to drive HOURS from home to see our 2017 graduates graduate. However, if Woodbridge POSTPONES graduation to Monday, June 5th, many family members will have to miss out. I know it's a "rain date", but it has the same probability of rain.
I am starting this petition to ask Woodbridge High School to NOT move the graduation date, but instead to move graduation inside, if it rains. I understand there is only enough room for those with tickets to attend an indoor graduation, but I would rather have family there to greet them afterwards then not be able to make it at all on that day. On Monday, there's also no guarantee it would be outside due to the same chances of rain.
So please sign with me, asking Woodbridge to keep graduation on June 4th 2017. Afterall, life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain.

I am currently reaching out to school administrators to demand they commit to an indoor ceremony rather than disrupting travel plans. Email the school board office today and insist they confirm our original date. Pressure works best when they hear from all of us at once.

As an alumni, I agree it should be inside. I graduated in 1997 and we had our graduation in the auditorium and it was great. At that time, we didn't have a choice, our principal made us have graduation inside.
It messed up my plans with family for graduation last year when they postponed ours! I wish you guys the best. Good luck
Please keep graduation on June 4th, I won't be able to make it on the 5th. I want to see my niece graduate.
I live out of state and would not be able to make it for Monday. That would devastate me to not see my little sister graduate! Please keep it June 4th!!
