I am worried about the safety of myself, my husband who gets up to catch these criminals, the safety of my children, and those in the community. It started with cars on the nature strips, then cars in the driveway, to shops and businesses, now they are coming into our backyards, attacking people, what next? Our homes and our children? In broad daylight? Something needs to be done to stop this, something needs to be done to keep the police as close as possible. For those of you who think the police can't do anything anyway, let me tell you this; the 15 year old boy on drugs/alcohol the night we caught him was crying more than my two year old does, and he has not been back since. If they know they will be caught, and in trouble with the authorities and their parents, at the very least it will make them think twice about doing it again!
I will be forwarding this on to our local member or parliament Lisa Neville and requesting to sit down with the police officer in charge of Drysdale police station, and the parliament member her self. I have had enough of this, and if you have too, sign this petition and pass it on to your friends!

I have been reading your stories about the recent break-ins and it is clear that my family is not the only one living in fear. We are coordinating with a local representative to discuss the staffing cuts at our station so that we can finally get some answers.

Seeing this grow so quickly confirms that I am not the only one feeling unsafe in my own backyard. It brings me real peace to know that so many neighbors are finally speaking up about the crime taking over our streets.

I think its rediculas that we don't have a full time police station in drysdale, with the population growing as much as drysdale and clifton springs. we have had too many robberies and even murders and assaults, and it's only going to get worse with so many drug addicts now.
i moved from te city to drysdale to get away from crime and now we have been robbed
Have had my car tyres slashed in my own driveway by drinks with broken glass alcohol bottles as well as my parents car stolen off my front lawn by young kids who dumped car, took plates and rego sticker, stole another car and then dumped ur with our plates
We are a growing community who no longer feel safe or have any close police for assistance. Seems crazy that years ago with a small town we had local police and no with how large and how many outsiders we have moving in we have a semi closed station. Doesn't even make an ounce of sense does it
I moved to Leopold from ocean Grove 2 years ago, in that time i have seen the number of Youth Crime become a lot more common, The youth have full knowledge that the odds are well and truly in there favour, that there will be No Police in attendance If they get up to shananigans, Just have a look at how many burnout and wheely marks are on the road these days, Keep the Drysdale police station Fully Manned, and Nip this rising problem in the Bud ?? Before it becomes an accepted way of Life

unfortunately i now have witnessed first hand criminal aspect that is now very common in drysdale and clifton spring. maybe if there was more police present my daughter might not have been assaulted in her own home.
