As you all know, Dr. Galaviz's contract is up for discussion at the CISD Board Meeting this Tuesday 11/28. After the last meeting, the Board decided to wait and here from the community to see if they would renew his contract. I believe that change for the sake of change will not benefit our community or school. Please sign if you think Dr. Galaviz should remain at CISD.

I really thought this might just fizzle out but the way people are showing up for Dr. Galaviz is honestly wild to see. It is making me wonder if the board realized how many of us actually pay attention to what happens in those rooms because the momentum lately has been impossible to ignore.

Dr. Galaviz does a great job making himself available to the community and the campuses in the district. He shows students his support by coming to their functions and even has his own children attend our schools. That wasn't the case in the recent past with our last superintendent. Dr. Galaviz shows his commitment to this community with his actions.
Dr. Galaviz is encouraging and looks out for the students' well-being. He has begun a good work in the district; let him stay and finish what he started. Improve the quality of Canutillo education.
Dr. Galaviz is a positive influence on all the schools in Canutillo.
He is leading the district in the right direction.
Best I seen thus far
Dr. Galaviz is a caring, thoughtful and kind-hearted individual. He is a great leader and has made much progress with Canutillo ISD. It's been a long time since we have had a leader that is so involved in the community.....his own children even attend school with Canutillo ISD. This alone tells you how much confidence he has in CISD. He's an inspiration!!
Great man who cares about the Canutillo Community, CISD employees, all the schools and students educations and their futures. What more to ask of a Superintendent with a class act?

Keep him!!!! There has been enough changes in central office positions. This district needs to retain consistent and positive leadership to continue strive and succeed.
