keep the coach who is prepared to give up his wage to keep the team going and for the team to get paid
Would love to see Bernie still there next season. But if he walked away I wouldn't blame him, the board have not treated him or the girls very well at all this season!!!!
I consider it an insult that Bernie has to apply for the position he has made his own
The situation is now intolerable. A professional board would know you back a coach til you sack them you cannot clip a coaches wings & expect success . Bernie has coached 2 national titles & just missed a 3rd. you don't sack successful coaches. the board must go.
having worked at the bendigo stadium & in conjunction with the spirit, i can say first hand that no one works harder than that family. the board members need replacing
Bernie has been tried and true, look at the position the Spirit have been in throughout the as few years and this year, second. Look after this coach like he's looked after the Sprit.

The Harrowers are the heart & soul of Bendigo Spirit & Bernie has done a truly remarkable job, often with limited resources.
