Please support the ongoing success of Corrimal Swim Club by endorsing Tracey Waters continuing as Head Coach at Corrimal Pool. Her dedication to this role has been highlighted by the outstanding results of the swim club members over the time Tracey has been in the role. A change in organisation structure at the pool will see our swimmers moving to many varied venues and the spirit of the club will dissolve. By signing the petition you are asking Wollongong Council to maintain a very successful structure and to take into account these points when debating the tender process.
The council remains silent despite our efforts which is disheartening but not unexpected. I spent the morning reviewing the club results again and remain convinced that losing Tracey would be a mistake for every swimmer involved. We keep pushing because the alternative is watching the community we built disappear.

Reaching this level of support has been a long and exhausting process that proves how vital Tracey is to our community. I am tired but feeling a renewed sense of purpose knowing that so many of you refuse to let this club fall apart.

having been one of Tracey's elite swimmers for many years I think the proposed changes are a disgrace and as a learn to swim teacher if Tracey loses her position I will never agin send my students on to train under the new appointed head coach out of my respect for Tracey.

Tracey Waters is an asset to both Wollongong City Council and Corrimal Swim Club in her role as head coach at Corrimal Pool - why change a coach that has operated successfully for over 20 years.
