The administration has officially committed to restoring the full sixty minutes for Bulldog Hour. This outcome reflects the necessity of having adequate time to complete our work during the school day. I appreciate everyone who spoke up to ensure that our needs were recognized and addressed.

Bulldog hour is an hour(now 40 minutes) of time we have on Thursdays where we can work on homework, do tests, meet with teachers, etc. Since our school doesn't have homeroom, in a way this is how they make up for it. Help keep Bulldog HOUR an hour long! In my personal experience, this break during the day is very helpful. It helps keep my grade up and get caught up with everything. By the time a student actually gets to their classroom, they will only have around 35 minutes or less to do anything. This is definitely not enough time to do get all the help they need or remake a test. Many students can not stay after or come to school early due to activities, no ride, etc. Sign this petition if you need your time!---Elisa Reamer

When bulldog hour is an hour long, people are able to see their friends when they might not be able to otherwise. Students can then get help from more than one teacher. I know that I have a quiz that I need to take, but I also need serious help in another subject. The fact that I can only choose one puts a large amount of stress on me
I think the thing that I most dislike about the new version of the bulldog hour is that you cannot switch classes. Because sometimes you just have to go to a class to finish a small project or a question, but then you can't leave, and go to another class that maybe has like a big project due the next day.
35 minutes is simply not enough time to get the work that needs to be done- done. The fact that we HAVE to stay in the same room for the full time is also not optimal if we need help from multiple teachers. We need the original bulldog hour back.
Bulldog hour was much better before the change because students were not restricted to one room and one teacher. I want the freedom and the time to go see multiple teachers about any issues I'm having, plus I liked how lunch was integrated into the hour of free time so that when I had nothing to work on, I could go eat and relax with friends.
Bulldog Hour has been a great tool that allows us to get groupwork done, make up tests, get help and do homework, but for it to be completely effective it needs to be at least the full hour again and allow us to move classrooms as we need so we can do any or ALL of the above.

I can't retake any of my tests. 40 minutes is not enough time especially when the passing period is included. It's called bulldog HOUR not bulldog half hour.
