We the students of the HISD Energy Institute, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Food to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the students of HISD Energy Institute we need to stand up the the unfair changes that this school has made to our lunch. We need these 45 minutes of lunch, it allows for a great break for students. Students need to eat there lunch especially if they get lunch from the line that takes almost 30 minutes alone. Plus chatting with people is a great way to relax the mind from schoolwork making the next class even better. Please consider signing this petition so we can make lunch great again.

I would like to request that lunch be moved back to the regular time. Having lunch earlier cuts into my ability to rest and reset in the middle of the day. When lunch is scheduled at the normal time, it gives me a much-needed break to relax, recharge, and prepare for the rest of my responsibilities. A proper break not only helps reduce stress but also improves focus and productivity afterwards. By keeping lunch at the usual time, I can make the most of that pause in the day and return to work or class more energized and effective.
Lunch is too short right now. We need to improve the amount of time we eat lunch, and not just for lunch, but also for clubs that MEET during lunch.
An extension of lunch would make up for the fact that the phone ban already deprives us of our only time of relaxation. With lunch being shortened, our time to cool off is shortened, and we students will not have enough rest and we won't be prepared for our next classes.
By the time I am done talking to teachers, giving paperwork to Deans and doing whatever other odds and ends I need to do, I only have like 5 minutes left to eat.
This is such an important social time during lunch that gives people the chance to relax and to grow socially through friends and clubs and also gives people the chance to actually sit down and eat if they get in the lunch line and it takes up most of lunch.
A 45 minute lunch also gives clubs more time to do things and gives the club members more breathing room.

Food is less enjoyable and fulfilling when you need to rush to eat either because you were talking to a teacher, waiting in the line, or waiting to use the microwave all cuts into the lunch time, so more time, better lunch.
