We want the DOH to reactivate AMUMC/AMC Article 28 license so that 685,000 Brooklyn and Queens residents can have a fighting chance with AMC doctors who actually care to decrease the mortality rates in the under served communities which they live.

I really thought this might just disappear into the void but looking at how many people actually stepped up makes me feel like we might have a real path forward now. It is honestly overwhelming to see so many families who need these doctors finally speaking out together because I know how much it actually hurts to feel like your neighborhood has just been abandoned by the system.

Dr. Brown has been a healthcare pillar in East New York and Brownsville for decades. The community will support him through his challenges with DOH.

I'm a Brooklyn native, so I know how scarce quality healthcare comes in this borough. I support.

My brother is a recovering addict. Samaritan Village drug rehab sends him to AMC for his medical appointments. I think this is the only place that has a drug rehabilitation program to help recovering addicts.

This place has been here since I was a kid! My mother still comes here I think. AMC is a pillar in this neighborhood.

I am looking forward to seeing the American Medical Centers Community Advisory Board execute the plans promised throughout the neighborhood to empower the community such as the various Epidemiology health research and relief plans talked about on Mother Gaston. It is the reason why I'm signing the petition to keep this facility open!

AMC is a healthcare provider that cares for black people in urban neighborhoods. It looks suspicious DOH wants to cause resistance in keeping a facility like this open to continue to help us. This is not good!

I as his daughter will make noise on my fathers behalf. He’s a beautiful human and deserves to tell his story to all who will listen.
