I am really hoping that UM SSW can start offering more adventure therapy classes. I have a strong interest in learning more about adventure therapy as I am hoping to work with children and adolescents in my future career
To whom it may concern, I would be deeply grateful to have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of adventure therapy through classes at the University of Michigan. While having the opportunity to participate in facilitating adventure therapy, I can already imagine the great power the therapy could have for many demographics with various challenges.
Not only should we keep this course we should expand adventure therapy in the school of social work!

I believe that courses that teach adventure therapy are necessary to offer to students. My clients would truly benefit from having a SW that knows how to lead this type of therapy. Especially for child, adolescent, and young adult populations, but not limited to these groups. I wish this could be offered every semester.
