Kent County Council to create a right-turn out from Food Warehouse onto Eurolink Way (Sittingbourne)
Currently, shoppers visiting the food warehouse/home bargain stores on Eurolink Way can only turn left out off the premises. This is not effective traffic management especially as a good number of shoppers exiting the premises either reside east of the location or wish to travel eastwards thereby requiring them to turn right.
At present, most are doing the right turn which is unsafe and hazardous simply because the alternative would mean an extra 10 minute drive, which flies in the face of the council’s aspirations to reduce carbon emissions and improve the flow of traffic in the town centre.
This petition is directed to the Kent County Council administration, ward councillors and the Council’s traffic engineering team.

Its ridiculous having to drive all the way to the roundabout just to come back the way I came. Waste of time and petrol.
This is needed
Euro link way need to be redesigned as Regent Quay is residential. A set of traffic lights are needed so as to give residents an opportunity to leave/ enter the compound. Also there are not pedestrian crossing for the residential, it gets difficult to cross over to either side of the road no access at all. We need to understand that not everyone drives, some residents use public transport so as the school children. My daughter finds is concerned of het safety and of others where there is a roundabout by Ford car dealers as there is always trucks/cars by the steel recycling centre. There queues there is obstructing , therefore one can not see traffic coming towards roundabout, it is duly unsafe. Lastly, speed limit needs to be revised in the Euro link way or /and speed humps to be laid. If feels like Formula 1 race course with cars / motorcycle, something tragic is going to happen there as earlier this year there was an accident that has occurred. I will appreciate if my views are taken into consideration. Thank you.

Been waiting for someone to sort this out. So many people just risk the right turn anyway because the long way round is such a pain.
