The city finally caved and the Kazakh flag is going up on the Parkway. Mayor Nutter had no choice but to acknowledge our presence after we shoved this request in his face until he listened. Keep watching those poles because our representation is officially permanent.

Please add the Kazakhstan flag as it represents so many adoptees here in the USA!! It is also very beautiful!!
We adopted our daughter from Kazakhstan. It would be an honor for her and others to have the flag of her birth country flying alongside other nations flags! Thank you!
We adopted our son from Kazakhstan and have tried to instill pride in the country of his birth. Whenever we visit the Franklin Institute he asks where is the Kazakhstan flag.
Philadelphia is very special to me as I did graduate coursework there. Kazakhstan is my daughter’s birth country and a country I hold dear. Please include the Kazakh flag. Thank you!

My son was born in Kazakhstan and is now a proud American citizen. Please honor his country of birth and include the Kazakh flag on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
