On August 21, 2013 our lives were forever changed upon receiving the most devastating news two children could receive, news that a Dee Reifinger had shot and killed our father inside his own home. She has been charged with the murder, yet has been out on bail since September 9, 2013.
Given the cruelty of the crime committed against Michael, Dee Reifinger should be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible. If you agree, that WHEN convicted, she should receive, at minimum, Life in Prison without the possibility of parole, please sign this petition.

I think it's RIDICULOUS this woman is out on bail and getting this Plea Deal. MURDER IS MURDER - this was unprovoked and NO PLEA DEAL in the world is fair for this poor man's family. You are trading a life cut short for a woman who was deranged to just cut out a life with no justice or payment. NO PLEA DEALS for this vile woman.
Such a sad story - Dee needs to be held responsible for this senseless crime and justice served so Mike's children can close this sad chapter in their life and move on - no one deserves this!
That was my birthday and Im glad he came to handout with me. i think he had a good time that afternoon. he will be missed .a very good guy
Mike was my neighbor years ago on the Hollis Road ...he gave me the best dog a girl could ever ask for...he was a sweet man.s
I think the DA should seek the death sentence. If this was not a brutal crime, where a man was murdered in his own home with no act of abuse on his part, I don't know what else would qualify.
I miss him
Mike was a great guy always a great friend to be around.

This is my brother, the three of us loved each other very much. Mike deserved to live out his life in love and peace not wondering when she would kill him. Just imagine living in your own home with someone who would not leave and threatened to kill you daily.
