Michael Darden a Terre Haute resident was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. He went for a few drinks with his buddies then proceeded to leave and go home. When he got almost home he decided to stop in the Dew Drop Inn and pick up some carry out. While leaving the Inn a guy in a group said something to him and he replied with "what" and the group jumped him. Mike finally managed to get away and he got in his car and sped off accidently hitting a couple cars. Mike knew this group who attacked him was following him and we're armed so he left the scene of the accident afraid for his life. When Mike got home to his girlfriend and newborn baby this group had followed him and started shooting up his car. Police are saying Mike went into this bar picking fights and shooting up the bar and left the scene of an accident. Now he is in jail possibly being charged with criminal recklessness and leaving the scene of an accident. What is wrong with this picture? Mike was found with no gun and it was obvious he had been beaten and his car and home had been shot up. Was he supposed to stay there until the cops got there while his attackers whom were armed were out for him? He was afraid for his life and had been beaten badly. Where is the JUSTICE for Mike? Mike needs to come home and be with his family. Please sign our petition to try to get Mike home so the court system can see his good character.
