The government has officially announced the legislative changes necessary to ensure animal abusers face appropriate consequences for their actions. I am deeply appreciative of the commitment shown by the hundreds of people who supported this cause. We will continue monitoring the implementation of these new protections to ensure they are …
We have created Justice for Animals following the horrendous cruelty, suffering and neglect inflicted on 14 Briards in Scotland.
This case has affected us so much that we are looking to raise 100,000 signatures to present to the Prime Minister in the United Kingdom and the First Minister in Scotland to make changes to the law to protect our animals from such cruelty and ensure that real punishment is being served to those who ignore the law.
We want to make this a Party Political issue where each Party has to clarify it's position and what they would do if elected.
People can make change, lets make this change together!
The suffering of those 14 Briards necessitates a formal review of how our legal system addresses animal cruelty. I am currently drafting a briefing document that outlines specific legislative amendments for both the Prime Minister and the First Minister. We must ensure that the political parties acknowledge their responsibilities regarding these protections.

Absolute disgrace that these poor dogs suffered like that. There needs to be real jail time for people who do this stuff.
