We, the signers of this petition, are expressing our adamant desire to see that justice is given to Sarah Pesa-Wale in the form of an indictment and subsequent trial of her husband, Eric Wale.

Sarah Ruth Pesa-Wale was murdered in her home in Waterown, NY on August 28, 2015. The only suspect in this case is her husband, Eric Wale, who by his own admission was the only adult present at her time of death - which has been ruled a homicide. Given the fact that the "Grand Jury must determine that the evidence is legally sufficient and that it provides reasonable cause to believe that the defendant has committed the crime"*, we the undersigned are in agreement that sufficient evidence does exist (the fact that Eric Wale was the only adult present at a homicide) and that this evidence does provide more than reasonable cause to believe that Eric Wale did commit this crime.

As a loving mother of three small children, a nurse in her community, and advocate against addiction, Sarah was a beautiful, kind and compassionate young woman who touched and help many during her lifetime. Sarah deserves nothing less than your full commitment in pursuing an indictment and arrest of her killer and holding him accountable for her horrendous death.

We are adamant that this case be brought to trial where a jury of his peers can decide his innocence or guilt. Only then will we be satisfied that you went the distance to get Sarah the justice she and her children rightfully deserve.
