As many may know, Mrs.Pedersen has recently been removed from her Medical Health Academy position that she has held for the past 19 years, with the explanation of “heading in a different direction”. She deserves much better, and considering her last year at LQHS is next year, she deserves to continue and finish what she has molded into a nearly flawless program, and what she loves most, instead of being moved to PE, like Dr.Wilson is planning on doing.

I have been reading through the stories you all are sharing about how Mrs. Pedersen helped you and I am honestly overwhelmed by the impact she has had on this school. This is entirely your passion showing through and I am just humbled to be a part of what you are building together.

As a nurse and have seeing the quality of her students come through our clinic it would be a disservice to not have her tim this program as she knows what has work in the past and truly gives the student real exposure to medical field
Mrs. Pedersen was handed a program that was struggling to survive, and built it into what it is today. She is very good at what she does, and perhaps she can guide you in the direction you want to go with it before she retires next school year. She deserves that opportunity.
Graduated class of 2015 and I am now graduating Cal State Fullerton with a major in Speech Language Pathology. Ms. Pedersen and her loyalty to the program and her students was extremely influential in my educational endeavors. Making her teach PE would be a BIG mistake.
Ms. Pedersen has made a really big impact for the medical health academy at LQHS. She works way to hard to be removed from this academy after all the hard work she put in for the past 19 years. This academy will be nothing if it weren’t for her. She deserves to end her teaching career as the head of MHA.
Mrs. Pedersen has been nothing but amazing at her job. Spending many hours to help get students the internships they need. My mother works at a pharmacy where MHA students intern at and she says it’s a pleasure having them work and get the experience they need.

Both of my daughters attended health academy when attending LQHS. They became very reliable and responsible adults do to the health academy instructors. Please continue the program and allow existing instructors to teach. For it is invaluable program
