Dr. Wako Ejersa amongst other applicants was interviewed by Manpower Services, an external human resource consulting firm that was contracted by KEMSA board to filter the applicants. Dr. Wako, performed exemplary well in the interview. The firm then forwarded six names to the board for further interviews. Dr. Waqo was again ranked first from the interviews conducted by the board. He was thus recommended for the position of CEO KEMSA.
There is a suspicion of foul play by the Minister who wants to short change Dr. Waqo's appointment replacing him by her lieutenants. Dr. Waqo, who according to the HR consulting firm and the Board was the best for the position is thus being shortchanged. The CS has not given any reasons as to why the Interviews should be repeated.
It is in this regard that we the people of Northern Kenya feel betrayed by the same government which we stood for during the time of need.
Sir, we kindly request your esteem office to intervene this situation and ask Health CS to uphold her integrity and fairly appoint Dr. Waqo for the position which he rightfully deserves.

I have personally confirmed from the immediate former CS that Dr. Waqqo was the candidate. Any contrary position shall be resisted and fought
Meritorious appointment is all we are asking for. Dr. Waqo Dulacha should be appointed to the position he applied, interviewed for and ranked the best among worthy competitors. And that is CEO KEMSA!!
Dr.Waqo deserve the CEO KEMSA position due to his long-term experience in managerial position, hardwork and competent, and success in every sector he has worked with in government health related places.
nepotism should be discouraged in government positions. it is retrogressive. Dr. wako has proven exemplary knowledge a prove of brilliance not compared to them.
Justice should be served to Dr. Waqo. Why shortchange him ?A job he qualified and competently won through a vigorous interview process ? The minister should be held accountable for this.
Dr waqo deserve the Post and should be given.we stand with him

Dr Waqo is the Marsabit County Icon, the corrupt CS must be informed of that, It's very unfortunate decision made by the CS, injustice to Dr Waqo is not only injustice to Marsabit County but the entire Kenyan nation, this will surely cost the jubilee government. #standwithdrwaqo#
