WHEREAS there exists an unjust situation in this country wherein children born in Mexico are illegally brought to the this country, and WHEREAS these children have lived in this country as citizens in every way except name, and WHEREAS these children desire to gain official status as citizens of this country and contribute to the prosperity of the country they call home, and WHEREAS no viable means of legally attaining working status exists for these children, and WHEREAS there are citizens of this country who desire, with the love we have for these children who were brought to this country in innocence of any crime and who now long for a country to call their own, that they be given a means to achieve such goal and find opportunity to become citizens of this magnificent country and thus secure a future of hope, THEREFORE, WE, the below signed persons, APPEAL TO THE ELECTED GOVERNING CITIZENS TO ESTABLISH A FAIR AND EQUITABLE MEANS FOR THESE CHILDREN TO BECOME CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
