We are a nation of immigrants. We have at least 1.8 million friends and neighbors who were brought to the United States as children and who do not now have documentation. Too many young people who live here and love America - who ARE American - are living in fear, unable to fully participate in our economy and contribute to our nation. It is time to cancel their removal and put them on a path to citizenship. This petition will be directed to the White House, as well as to the U.S. Senators working on a bill to support the DREAMERs.

I am currently coordinating with three different policy offices to discuss the specific legislative language regarding adjustment of status. My focus is on ensuring these signatures are presented as a formal attachment to the briefing documents arriving on their desks.

These kids grew up here and went to school with my grandkids. They are american in every way that counts and we need to do the right thing for once.
I may have done this already. All of our families are from immigrants, including the Drumfs, alas.
LET MY PEOPLE GO
To my representative, To deny immigrants basic rights and streamlined path to citizenship is to deny the identity of the u.s. as a nation. We need to offer those who have been staying here a path to become citizens not only because it is the right thing to do, but it would be hypocrisy to say, we, as descendants of immigrants are going to disallow people from enjoying the freedoms we take for granted. I humbly ask that you would provide Dreamers, children caught in the crossfire of our politics, safe haven until their case is decided, along with protections from organizations like ICE. Give them a path to citizenship. I realize crafting a law that allows this and protects everyone's interests takes time, but take the time. This is about the future of many American's loved ones, family members, friends, and coworkers. Remember why the law is in place, to protect, serve, and to do good. These people need protecting. Thank you for your time
The Dreamers deserve a fair shake and we need them.

Keep these folks here; why send them away so the benefits which we have accorded them will serve some other nation, instead of having them working & paying taxes here?
