WE DESPERATELY NEED A SUITABLE PLAYGROUND ON OUR ESTATE. THERE ARE FUNDRAISING OPTIONS AND/OR CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS OUT THERE WHO CAN COVER THE COSTS SUCH A PROJECT - BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SHOW JUST HOW MUCH IT IS BEING CRIED OUT FOR!

Johnson Fold - a Community in Bolton's Smithills Ward, openly described by many as "deprived" - had, in the latter decades of the last century, built for itself a reputation welcomed by nobody and appreciated by even fewer.
As a Community, however, in more recent years the wonderfully friendly residents have worked towards encouraging the development of a newer, more reflective, reputation ; one of Community Spirit, togetherness, and promise. This shall continue to go unnoticed until the rising generations are given their due credit.

Innovation. Social protocol. Teamwork. . . You'd agree that these are just three examples of what we would all hope to see from our young of today - and precise examples of the strengths displayed by many of the children within our Community as it is now. Our mission is to aid in the development of these strengths (and much much more).

And so we ask you - please, we beg you - to consider our opinions, our wants, our needs as residents, as parents, as children, as a Community.
