Everyone who knew and loved Johnny knew how much he loved Albuquerque.. A place that was near and dear to Johnny was the Wells Park Community Center.. This is a place where Johnny and the youth of Wells Park could have a safe place to participate in brotherhood and sportsmanship.. He played there, her fought there, he mentored the you there.. In the spirit of giving that Johnny was famous for, we ask that you please stand behind us in renaming Wells Park CC to Johnny Tapia Community Center.
