How can some students get dress coded and some students not? Dress code isn't even something for some people to follow because they know they wont get in trouble. But others have to follow it or they will be forced to change. The dress code needs to be fair to all students! Let’s make a change!

Seeing this take off really makes me realize how many of us have been feeling this exact same frustration in the hallways lately. I honestly thought it would just be me yelling into the void but now it feels like we might actually get someone to listen to us for once.

Dress code is dated and sexist. It's ridiculous that a women's educated is taken away from so that she has to change to not "distract" men. Boys should be taught to control themselves and not sexualize women instead of telling young girls to cover their bodies.

Certain people get called out for the same exact thing everyone else is doing. The school is all about how you need to express yourself but yet when you do so there are consequences. People should have the freedom to do themselves

There have been times when I've had teachers stop me for revealing a small portion of my stomach (I tend to wear high waisted pants and things such as this to hide most of it) and times when I've seen girls walking around in t-shirt dresses, but no teachers calling them out. I want the right to wear what I want and express my individuality.

It really is unfair. How come guys can wear their pants around their feet and not get yelled at, but when I step into the school, I'm asked to cover up my "too revealing" sheer top? I had a shirt under it.

I have experienced this myself, as some people have been able to get away with risky clothing, while I was dress coded for having my shoulders bare. I get they don't want to argue with some kids, but I feel like there should be a line drawn.

Yes I think we should be able to wear what we want
