Mr. Tananbaum has a conflict of interest and should resign from the board of Burning Man LLC.
Even if originated with the best intentions, the execution of a certain VIP camp showed utter incompetence. The mistreatment of the "sherpas" and the exclusive nature of the camp fly in the face of every principle of Burning Man. I cannot allow this to stand.
As an eight time Burner, I find this situation totally inexcusable and completely against the BM spirit.

As an 8-year burner, I was "brought in to help build a really cool camp." At no point were we told we would be building a Plug-and-Play. I stuck around to find out more of the process, and it is flat out gross. Burning Man is an experiment. The playa is our lab. Keep the viruses like Jim Tananbaum out. BMorg: wash your face and reflect, please!
