WHERAS Mendon Community Unit District #4 Board of Education President Jim Farmer has displayed blatant disrespect for the faculty, staff, students, and fellow board members through his threatening communication with staff, disregard for fellow board members input and has dismantled all respect and trust for the CUSD#4 Board of Education.
We, the undersigned residents within the boundaries of CUSD#4 (and teachers / staff in CUSD#4 that live outside district limits) petition Board of Education President Jim Farmer to resign his position upon the board effective immediately to allow our community and faculty to rebuild confidence in our Board of Education.

The way he treats the teachers is totally uncalled for. Nobody wants to work for someone like that.
This guy is an absolute embarrassment to our town. CUSD4 deserves way better leadership than this.
Finally someone is doing something about this. He has been a nightmare for way too long. Time to go Jim.
REINSTATE SOME RESPECT. RESIGN NOW.
He thinks he can talk to people however he wants. Needs to be shown the door.

My kids have been coming home talking about how tense things are because of him. He needs to step down and let someone professional take over.
